Welcome to our SILVER SPURS Website !!
We have been a horse and livestock 4-H Club in Canyon County, Idaho for 6 years. Our horse kids excel in the show ring, as well as our market sheep and market swine exhibitors !! We have had Champion and Reserve Champion Showmen and have also had Round Robin Champions !! We have had 7 top 3 finishes in the Round Robin in just the last couple of years !! We started out with 5 kids, grew to 8 last year and had 10 members last year. We certainly have BIG plans for 2011 -- just watch us show and grow !! We ARE no longer accepting new members for the 2011 4-H Year !! If you want to be a Silver Spur member in 2012, please contact Connie for more information !!
Our club is active in the community. We have conducted food drives, and served a dinner at the Community House in Nampa. We believe that giving back to the community makes our area stronger and healthier !!
We are plotting and planning our show for next year already !!! The dates are June 8 - 9 - 10, 2012 == YES, 3 days at the Idaho Horse Park, in Nampa !!
